Ensuring robust cyber security systems and operations is crucial for the success of autonomous vehicles. This is partly a result of the interconnectivity between the infrastructure, people, autonomous vehicles and the internet, which leaves the vehicles susceptible to hackers and other attacks on its array of advanced technology, electronics and sensors. In order to ensure the safe transition and adoption of AVs, the core technology must be secured at all times.
