3:30 PM A Vehicle Less Future: Living Car Free while Increasing Transport Accessibility and Efficiency
The number of car sharing users is predicted to reach 60.8 million in 2022. GoGet Carshare is Australia’s first and largest car sharing service, operating in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. With autonomous vehicles creating opportunities for increased mobility in those usually less mobile such as children, elderly, and disabled, there is less need to own a vehicle in the future. GoGet has enabled:
- Decreasing car usage and allowing people to live car free
- Removing private cars from local streets and increasing patronage for public transport
- Improving local air quality and allowing people to lead more active lives
